SIDI IFNI - MOROCCO
Is it mix of Spanish - Morrocan architecture, promenade, beach bar, weekend markets, good surf or beautiful view from hills behind? Hard to say what makes it so special ... maybe the fact that you can find all of this in one small town at the border of Western Sahara ...
It's not just location, bur also the surroundings that make this place simply perfect holiday destination ...
You drive North and can see famous gates of Legzira or endless beaches and sand dunes of Aglou district. After that, you will find a historical small town of Tiznit with an old medina and specific atmosphere.
Go East and after a rivermouth valley and opuncia fields you can stop at Argan farm of Mesti. Than you enter town called Guelmim - well known for its big camel market, less known for its secret hot springs in the middle of nowhere.
Drive South and you will find beautiful empty beaches of Sidi Ouarzeg and Foum Assaka. Take peaceful walk and let yourself get inspired by the stories, local people and enjoy your cup of traditional Morrocan tea.
Than the road continuous more to the South... Tan Tan or a gate to Western Sahara is home to many A - quality reef breaks which makes it attractive for surf trips and for those who don't surf there is a beach Oued Chibika which will makes you feel like in Aladin movie with it's massive sand dunes.
There is still more South but it's hard to describe in words ... there is basically nothing but you can find there everything out there!
